TML Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool provides a comprehensive benefit package for its employees that begins on the first day of employment. These include:

  • Employee Medical Coverage (subject to pre-existing conditions)
  • Employee Dental Coverage
  • Employee Vision Coverage
  • $10,000 in Basic Life and AD&D Coverage
  • Term Life Insurance in the amount of the Employee's annual salary
  • Long-Term Disability Coverage after 90 days of continuous employment
  • Employees' Assistance Program
  • 2 to 1 match at retirement of the Employee's monthly 6% contribution to the Texas Municipal Retirement System
  • 6.2% monthly contribution to a Deferred Compensation Plan
  • 10 paid vacation days per fiscal year (10/1 - 9/30)
  • 11 paid sick days per fiscal year
  • 3 paid personal days per fiscal year
  • 8 paid holidays per fiscal year

  • Additional contributions to Deferred Compensation Plan
  • Personal Accident Coverage for employees and/or dependents
  • Optional Life and AD&D Coverage for employees and/or dependents

  • Dependent Dental Coverage
  • Dependent Vision Coverage (90-day waiting period)

  • Casual dress and flexible hours for most positions
